PowerPoint Emergencies

Not infrequently, a client will ask me to patch up a presentation when there isn’t enough time to perform a thorough reformatting job. In such cases, I will survey the entire deck and identify the slides and sequences most in need of help.

I’m looking for unreadable text, indecipherable (or just plain ugly) graphics, overlapping elements, broken animation sequences, and anything that is wildly inconsistent with the presentation’s overall style. Photo stretching is a common phenomenon — transferring slides from 4:3 to widescreen will often yield distorted images — I can identify these and fix them quickly.

So if you have a troubled presentation on your hands and very little time to get it ready, please make contact.
